Frequently Asked Questions: Remote Desktop

Q-1. Is there a Remote Desktop Connection (RDC) 7.0 client for downlevel versions of Windows?

A-1. Yes, you can download an RDC 7.0 client update for Vista SP1/SP2 and XP SP3 from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/969084. Note that this client only provides enhanced features like audio/video redirection and multimon support when you connect from Vista/XP to Win7/R2, not the other way around.
